The Art of Nature





"Migrating starlings visit Gretna in Scotland twice a year, in February and November, and flocks of thousands of the birds form shape-shifting patterns in the sky. It is unclear why or how they perform this autumnal aerial acrobatic display", but it is magical and mesmerizing. It's the simple things that we should all pay more attention to friends...

Those photos are amazing! At first I thought it was some sort of pointillist markmaking done on top of the photograph, but when you realize that those are actually birds making the magic, it's kind of mind-blowing!
