Doris Duke's "Shangri-La" compound in Hawaii...

I am guessing there were some serious "hooka's"
being passed around in this amazing abode
that belonged to the worldly, Ms. Doris Duke, back in the day.
I would of loved to have been a fly on the wall...

Photo's by Lucas Trovato, for Town & Country Magazine.

This color might make some want to gag...In my opinion, it is totally refreshing, in a world of turquoise and white...

If I had an apartment in Prague, or even in N.Y.C. I think this is how it would look. Cozy, artistic, musical...This is from the amazing Emily Evans Eerdman's blog.

Sofia Coppola's Home and Art Collection

I love filmmaker Sofia Coppola's style. To me, she represents the "thinking woman"...The Elizabeth Peyton painting above her gorgeous dining room table makes me drool, and the chairs are insanely cool...

Delicious Brunch at "The Corson Building" in Georgetown, WA

If you have not been to The Corson Building in Seattle, you must pay a visit soon. They grow all of their own veggies in their garden and the eggs are fresh from their own chickens. The egg dish with asparagus and hazelnuts, was amazing. Hazelnuts? Yes, hazelnuts, and it worked!!

My latest work...I think this is my favorite bird so far...N.W. Heron

Mamma Andersson (About A Girl) 2005 Oil on Canvas

I am so in love with Mamma Anderssons work, and I would LOVE

to add this piece to my dining room.If you are in New York between
April 29th, to June 12th, you really should stop by the
David Zwirner Gallery at 525 West 19th St. in Chelsea, to see this show.
Opening reception is Thursday April 29th from 6-8 pm,
if you want to meet Mamma in person.
Mamma Andersson is from Stockholm and was born in 1962,
which is fairly young, to be producing insanely beautiful pieces such as these...

It is so important to have an extensive collection of books
in one's home.
I love how this homeowner has put some beautiful framed art on the
seams of the bookcase.
